WNBA ROSTER BUILDER
Construct a starting lineup through random team draws. Choose how to fill your open positions, save your single re-roll for a difficult draw, then follow your franchise through a 44-game league schedule. This is a roster-building game with existing WNBA players, rather than a rookie mock draft.
Every eligible player appears with her positions and rating. A player can be picked only once, including those who played for multiple teams in 2025. Your first choice sets the franchise.
The vertical standings table ranks all thirteen teams together. Conference does not restrict playoff qualification and there is no extra Play-In stage.
Follow individual results and series scores through the first round, semifinals and Finals. A strong roster improves game strength, but a title is not guaranteed.
Data and model: pinned 2025 regular-season production and played memberships; sources collected 27 October 2026. Grades and game strengths are PlayBasket estimates, not official WNBA grades or validated forecasts. Whole-season grades follow verified historical memberships; opponents keep their captured team strength. The best eligible five is a model proxy, not a claim about actual historical starters. Source-role supplements and the simplified tiebreak rule are explained below. Source policy · Report a data issue.
Roll a team and select one eligible player for an open slot. Fill two guards, two forwards and one center. Every player on the drawn team appears together with positions and rating; filled or already-picked options stay visible but disabled. Your first pick determines the franchise your lineup replaces. You have one optional re-roll for the entire draft.
The game uses the completed 2025 season: 13 teams, 44 regular games per team and 164 eligible players. The source review retains 182 statistical identities and 208 played team memberships, including transfers. Players need at least three games and 50 total minutes to be draftable. It is a historical played-roster snapshot, not current registration, injury status or the ongoing 2026 season.
Player statistics and listed positions come from captured league sources. PlayBasket ratings are custom workload-adjusted, per-40 production estimates with small-sample shrinkage; they are not official grades or validated predictions. Twenty-one missing roster profiles use explicitly scoped current-provider supplements. Alanna Smith’s center eligibility also has a pinned 2025 starting-center box score; other roles are not guessed from height.
The top eight teams in the league qualify regardless of conference. There is no Play-In. The first round is best of three, semifinals best of five and Finals best of seven, with 1–1–1, 2–2–1 and 2–2–1–1–1 home orders. This game uses simplified wins, head-to-head and point-difference tiebreaks rather than the complete official multi-team procedure.
Use New Draft after the season finishes to begin again with a fresh team draw and one re-roll. The lineup stays in the open page session only; reloading does not restore it. Identical player IDs and drawn memberships reproduce the same simulated run. Selected players are not removed from opponent rosters, and there is no public leaderboard submission.
