NBA Trivia Quiz

NBA QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

What is NBA Trivia Quiz?

NBA Trivia Quiz is a free five-question basketball knowledge game. Each round mixes multiple-choice questions about NBA players, teams, records, awards, league history and championships.

HISTORY EXAMPLE · NOT A SCORED QUESTION

Which NBA season introduced the 24-second shot clock?

Answer: 1954–55. See the NBA season history.

How to read it: This asks about a rule’s introduction, not a player record. The basketball shot clock is also different from this quiz’s 15-second answer timer.

Teaching example only; it is not in the scored question pool. Source checked .

ANSWERS AND SCORING

How do answers and scoring work?

Choose one of four answers within 15 seconds. A correct answer earns 100 points plus 5 for each second remaining; a wrong answer or timeout earns zero. Double Down doubles the next correct answer when armed. After brief answer feedback, the next question starts automatically.

NBA Trivia rules and sources

Are NBA trivia records live or season-specific?

Read the season and statistic in the question. The question pack is dated 2 September 2026, not a live record feed. Its records store NBA source URLs, answer notes and verification dates; those fields do not mean every fact was rechecked today.

Does the +5 sec power-up change the possible score?

Yes. It adds five seconds once per round before answering, and the remaining-time bonus still applies. For example, a correct answer with 10 seconds left earns 150 points before Double Down, not just a fixed point for being correct.

Can I review a wrong NBA trivia answer without a timer?

After finishing, choose Review missed if you missed a question. The review has no clock and uses a Next button after answering; it does not change the original round score.
