Reading a EuroLeague debut clue

EuroLeague’s account of Mike James’s debut places it at Baskonia in late 2014. His Debut clue is therefore 2014, meaning the 2014–15 season. Against an imagined 2016-debut target, that tile would be orange with ↑ because the target debuted two seasons later. It does not compare NBA draft years. This illustrative comparison is not a puzzle solution.

What does the Debut clue mean?

Debut is the starting year of the first EuroLeague season in which the player actually played. For example, 2023 means 2023–24; EuroCup games and unused roster registrations do not count.

Why is there no draft-year clue?

EuroLeague does not have an NBA-style league draft. This game compares verified EuroLeague debut seasons instead of treating an NBA draft year as a European league fact.

What do the colors and arrows mean?

Green means exact. Orange means a shared position family, height within 5 centimetres, or age or debut within 2 years. Gray means no match. Height uses centimetres, unlike the NBA and WNBA editions. ↑ means the target value is higher; ↓ means it is lower. A higher Debut year means a later first played season.

How are Daily and Unlimited different?

Select the mode above the player search. Daily gives everyone the same UTC-dated EuroLeague target, resets at midnight UTC and records a streak. Unlimited creates additional practice targets without changing the saved Daily result; choose Next player after finishing a practice round.

What are the EuroLeague data coverage limits?

Club and profile facts use the dated registration snapshot shown above, with played-game records used to verify debut. They are not a live transfer feed. Profiles without required facts are excluded from search; mystery answers use a smaller reviewed pool of recognizable players.
