Five different basketball games, one daily result.
PlayBasket Daily Run is a guided route through five NBA knowledge games, not a sixth standalone puzzle. It combines player guessing, a 3×3 clue grid, four player connections, a five-question quiz and a 4×4 Bingo board into one score out of 500. Use each game's own rules to finish its daily result; the hub brings those results together.
How the Daily Run works
- Use Play now or Resume to open the next unfinished game, starting with NBA Wordle.
- Continue through NBA Grid, Connections and NBA Trivia, then finish with Bingo.
- Return to this hub after a terminal result to refresh the combined score, inspect Stats or share your progress without revealing answers.
Trivia and Bingo open their dedicated daily rounds through the run links; their standalone pages offer replayable rounds. Wordle Unlimited, archive boards, WNBA/EuroLeague editions, Higher or Lower and Top 10 do not contribute to this five-game route. For a different format, use the basketball games catalog.
How is the Daily Run score calculated?
Each game contributes up to 100 points. Wordle awards 100 for a first-guess win, then ten fewer per extra guess down to 50; a loss earns zero. Grid rounds 100 × correct cells ÷ 9. Connections awards 100 minus 15 per mistake for a win, or 15 per group solved before a loss. Trivia uses the correct-answer percentage, not its separate speed or power-up score. Bingo earns 60–100 for a first line depending on cards used: four cards earns 100, and later Bingo scores decrease toward 60 at deck exhaustion; no Bingo earns zero.
For an invented example: Wordle in three guesses = 80, Grid 6/9 = 67, Connections won with two mistakes = 70, Trivia 3/5 = 60, and Bingo in four cards = 100. The combined result is 377/500. These are illustrative outcomes, not today's solutions.
Must I win every game to complete the run or keep a streak?
No. All five games must have a valid finished daily result, but they do not all have to be wins. A loss or the game's own Give up action can finish a step where supported; simply leaving an unfinished game does not. The completion streak counts consecutive UTC dates with all five results recorded in the local run ledger, not consecutive perfect scores.
Yesterday's completed run can keep the current streak visible while today's run is unfinished. Missing a whole UTC day breaks that sequence. A high score from only four games does not complete the fifth step.
Do separate game results count, and can I change their order?
The hub offers the first unfinished game in its Wordle → Grid → Connections → Trivia → Bingo route. It also recognizes compatible daily results already saved in this browser, even if you finished those games separately or out of order. You do not need to repeat a completed daily puzzle just to enter the run.
Only the correct puzzle date, identity and supported save version count. Practice, Unlimited and archive play do not replace a locked daily result. Use the run links for Trivia and Bingo to enter their daily rounds, then return here to collect the result.
When does Daily Run reset, and what if a game is unavailable?
The run follows the UTC calendar and changes at midnight UTC, not your local midnight. Reload the hub if you leave it open across the reset. The individual games still need their published daily puzzles; an old puzzle or random practice round is not a replacement for today's scored step.
If the hub says today's run could not be verified, retry after checking your connection. If a daily game remains unavailable, use Contact with the game and UTC date. Incomplete or unverifiable results cannot be counted as completed steps.
Where are progress and Stats saved, and what does sharing reveal?
The hub reads supported game saves and keeps its run ledger in this browser. Returning offers the first unfinished step, but the amount of in-game progress that can resume depends on that game's save support. Progress does not sync to another device or restore from the cloud; clearing site data or blocked storage can remove continuity. Stats uses recorded run history, not invented backfilled days from old aggregate game totals.
A partial share contains the date and completed-step count. A finished share adds each game's outcome, points, total and streak, but no player answers, group solutions or trivia questions. Sharing does not itself submit a public score. Optional leaderboard submission is a separate nickname action; clearing local data does not delete a previously submitted public result.
